Description
Hoya Softener 0.5 and the stronger Softener 1.0 are filters with randomly arranged drops of water on the surface of optical acrylic. The pattern subtly scatters light resulting in a picture with a clear focus and a soft gradation, and this effect is especially evident in an object with a point light source, like a candle or match.
Hoya Softeners are helpful when:
- Creating focus with soft gradation
- Subtle diffusions
- Softener 1.0 is stronger than Softener 0.5
